Emergency First Aid at Work | schoolofchironas

It is an introductory 6-hour program that prepares first aiders to handle emergency situations that pose an immediate threat to human life. It covers all incidents that may occur in a high-risk workplace. Each training session/team can accommodate a maximum of 15 participants.

The program lasts at least 6 hours, excluding the final evaluation and breaks.

This program complies with the latest protocols and guidelines issued by scientific organizations.

Approved by the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance of Cyprus - Department of Labour Inspection.

This course is funded by HRDA.

Understand current legislation on first aid.
Understanding the role of first aid.
Understand the use of the first aid equipment provided in the workplace.
Understanding the basic principles of personal hygiene and protection in the process of providing first aid in the workplace.
Description and recording of the incident
Provide safe, immediate and effective actions following safe approach rules and procedures, in the following cases:
Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Drowning
Heart attack
Unconscious sufferer
Epilepsy
Bleeding.
Minor injuries and wounds
