EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK
It is an introductory 6-hour program, which prepares first aid workers to deal with emergencies that pose an immediate danger to human life. It is addressed to employees whose work environment is low risk. In each Department / Group that is trained, a maximum of 15 people participate. The program lasts at least 6 hours excluding final evaluation time and breaks.
The program is approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance of Cyprus TEE. To program conforms with the ERC2015 guidelines
Target audience
To all those who want to get upgraded first aid knowledge and be able to deal with the most incidents that may occur in a high risk workplace. It is suitable for employees of construction sites, factories, ports, warehouses and other high-risk workplaces.

Understand current legislation on first aid.

Understanding the role of first aid.

Understand the use of the first aid equipment provided in the workplace.

Understanding the basic principles of personal hygiene and protection in the process of providing first aid in the workplace.

Description and recording of the incident

Provide safe, immediate and effective actions following safe approach rules and procedures, in the following cases:

Basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Drowning

Heart attack

Unconscious sufferer

Epilepsy

Bleeding.
