Basic Life Support and Use of AED

CPR AND USE OF AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR

The course has a duration of six hours. It prepares trainees, to respond to cases of heart failure and to help the patient recover, with the help of the automated external defibrillator (AED). The course can accommodate up to 6 participants per trainer.

This course complies with the latest protocols and guidelines issued by scientific organizations.

This course is funded by ANAD.

The content of the program should include the following topics:
Understand current legislation on first aid.
Understanding the role of the first aider.
Understand the use of the AED and all the equipment included in the bag.
Understanding the basic principles of personal hygiene and protection during
Description and recording of the incident.
Primary assessment, recovery position.
Provision of CPR
Safe and effective use of AED
